Valentine’s Day Paper Plate Craft

This marble heart process art for valentines day is totally student-led! Students can choose their heart size, marble amount, paint colors, and desired outcome! They can roll the marbles as far as they can go to create beautiful art! Students will absolutely love this activity!

Your preschoolers and Kindergarteners would love to practice their fine motor skills and make this paper hearts for their loved ones. These marble painted hearts can be used to make cards or just as stand alone decoration for valentines day.


Supplied Needed:

So, grab the following items and prepare this amazing Valentines day paper plate heart craft with your preschoolers and kindergarteners in your life!

  • construction paper
  • tub or a shoe box
  • marbles
  • adhesive tape
  • scissors

How to paper plate and pom pom valentine craft:

Grab your construction paper and cut it into heart shapes. The more hearts the better! Your students will add small amounts of paint to a bowl, tub, or box along with a marble (or two or three!) and then get rollin’! Students roll the marbles back and forth across their hearts until their hearts have reached the look they would like to achieve.
