Thanksgiving is right around the corner and what better time to reflect and count your blessing! I absolutely love crafty ways to teach gratitude to my kids. Last year my kids totally loved the Thankful Turkey Hat craft we made and they went home hopping and jumping wearing those fun hats! I also love this Thankful Turkey booklet craft where my kindergarten class reflects on the things they are grateful for and complete this super cute craft! Here's another one which was a super hit with my kindergarten class! It made an amazing Hallway décor for that year! Do check it out below!

Handprint crafts are my favorite and my students love to do them do! It's a win -win for all of us! Check out these 15+ Turkey Thanksgiving craft ideas for your preschoolers and kindergarteners. Also do not miss to go through my Thanksgiving Handprint Crafts, which are super cute!

Thankful Tree Writing Craft

This engaging Thanksgiving writing craft for kids can be used to celebrate Thanksgiving in your classroom. We have created an adorable turkey craft tree that comes in a special ink-saver version. To get started, print leaves on fall-colored paper and have students write different things they are thankful for.

Before writing on the leaves, make sure to help students brainstorm a list of ideas of things they are thankful for. This would be a great opportunity to create an anchor chart to use and add to throughout the month. This craft promotes writing, creativity, and fine motor skills.
