Valentine’s Day Paper Plate Craft

This paper plate craft is a super easy and a great fine motor activity for kids for the month of February. With students photo in the center it becomes really cute craft to be sent home to parents as a keepsake to be cherished for years to come!

Your preschoolers and Kindergarteners would love to practice their fine motor skills and make this cute paper plate heart for their loved ones!


Supplied Needed:

So, grab the following items and prepare this amazing Valentines day paper plate heart craft with your preschoolers and kindergarteners in your life!

  • paper plate
  • paints
  • pom pom
  • clothespin
  • construction papers
  • child's photo

How to paper plate and pom pom valentine craft:

  • Paint your paper plate using clothespins and pom-pom
  • Once the plate is painted, add some glitter (for a fun and sparkly touch!)
  • While the plate is drying, cut out a couple of colored hearts in different sizes from colored construction paper
  • Glue the hearts together and add the photo of your student to the top of the heart “stack”
  • Complete this craft by gluing the hearts/pictures onto the painted plate
  • Send this home as an adorable Valentine's keepsake for families!
