Hispanic Heritage Month Activities, Day of the Dead Sugar Skulls Craft and Decor

Celebrate Day of the Dead or Dia de los Muertos with this simple and great sugar skull crafts for kids. It can also be a great Halloween craft. This is an easy and fun sugar skull craft that can be adapted for kids of all ages! This craft is easy cut and hence kids can practice scissor skills.

Students can learn about why people celebrate the Day of the Dead and what a sugar skull actually is. Day of the Dead or Día de Los Muertos originated in Mexico but is celebrated across Latin America.

With this Sugar skull craft kids can explore their creativity at all levels. This craft can be attached to a popsicle stick and can become a mask for kids. A boy and girl skull designs are included:
